John Shaw Neilson Society weekend event – 7-8 August
The John Shaw Neilson Society cordially invites all who are interested to a John Shaw Neilson Weekend at Nhill, half way between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Program-

Saturday 7th August
12:30 - 1:30 pm Registrations at the Nhill Historical Society Centre,
Address: 104 - 106 Macpherson St. Nhill.

1:30 - 5:30 pm - Tour of significant John Shaw Neilson locations in the Nhill area (including the JSN cottage, JSN memorial on the Western Highway, a display of JSN inspired paintings by local artists and visiting some of the locations mentioned in JSN poetry (Victoria St., Mechanic Institute etc.).

7:00 pm - JSN commemoration dinner.
Venue: Farmers Arms Hotel, 2 Victoria St. Nhill.

Sunday 8th August
9:30 am Poets Brunch at the Lions Club Den, Davis St. Nhill.
