Five Islands Press are proud to announce the arrival of a new book: 'POSSESSION: Poems about the Voyage of Lt James Cook in The Endeavour 1768-1771' by Anna Kerdijk Nicholson.
This is Anna’s second book and in it she explores colonial appropriation. To quote Phillip Salom: "these poems, about the voyage of Lt James Cook in The Endeavour between 1768 and 1771, are modern artefacts; permeable and sophisticated — they examine how language, history and time serve to sift and subvert knowing."

Phyllis Perlstone launched Anna Kerdijk Nicholson’s second collection of poetry, Possession:Poems about the Voyage of Lt James Cook in The Endeavour 1768-1771, at Surry Hills Library on Saturday 20 February.
